St. Edwards Episcopal Church Addition  Lancaster, PA  This project was a 4400 square foot banquet hall addition to the current church at 2453 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster, PA. Mattress Warehouse  Lancaster, PA  This was a 136,000 square foot new construction at 1693 Oregon Pike in Lancaster, PA. The project included a combination of rubber roofing and metal standing-seam awnings with vented soffit on the underside of each awning. Lancaster General Hospital, James Street Addition  Lancaster, PA  Lancaster General Hospital requested a modern, up-to-date appearance for their new James Street entrance. The architect needed a structure that was durable and attractive yet fit in with the neighboring atmosphere. J. V. Heidler Co., Inc. was able to provide a large standing seam metal curved roof flanked by two smaller versions on each side. These structures were built to withstand both the changing seasons along with any future change in architectural design. Return to Top

This job consisted of three types of roofing including TPO Roofing, Modified Roofing, and Clay Tile Roofing along with custom shop fabricated coping for Romano’s Macaroni Grill located at 925 Plaza Blvd., Lancaster, PA. WaWa Convenience Stores  Various Locations  We’ve installed roofs on several new WaWa stores in Lancaster and Berks counties. Jobs typically consist of aluminum Dutch-Seam peaked roof and canopies, flat rubber roofing, and all trim work, soffits, gutters, downspouts, flashings, etc. We were recently awarded the new store in Reading, PA. Progress Bank & Franklin Video Retail Store  Crossroads Shopping Center, Exton, PA  An example of our small, high-quality commercial work, this job consisted of two buildings—a bank and a retail store. The goal here was to achieve the rich look of copper, but without the added expense. We installed an ATAS 24-gauge standing-seam steel roof with 11" wide panels. Factory finished in coppertone Kynar paint, this system was designed to be both attractive and durable. Return to Top

Smyrna Opera House  Smyrna, DE  This new roof on a second-story addition to an historic building had to meet preservation guidelines. This required accurate historical detail and look, but through utilization of modern materials. We had to find new sources for some of the materials, particularly the synthetic slate we used, which came from Ireland. Muhlenberg Townhomes  Lititz, PA  This recently completed project was a very large job—approximately 64,000 square feet of EPDM roofing and 40,000 square feet of shingling, plus soffits, fascia, gutters, and downspouts. Biemesderfer Hall, Millersville University  Millersville, PA  Millersville University wanted the slate roof on this building restored to look exactly like the original, a challenge that required unparalleled craft and expertise.
